True first edition.Brown cloth covers with gold titles to spine;in mint condition.Dust wrapper is bright and clean.light edge wear top and bottom,creasing to flap edges.Unclipped,nice cover.Block is tight and sound with no loose pages.Clean and straight.Small neat name on blanck prelim.Story built around 3 characters,Sam Cash;Ponto Mason;Toddy Dunn.All who are apparently ingeneous,aimless loafers,concientious only in dodging work as they wander through the South Island.Some great tales and situations.
