Rare primary magical material with translation. Printed by letter press by Horace Hart at the Oxford University Press. Original grey printed light card wraps. The author (1878-1949) was lecturer in Biblical Exegesis, Midrash and Talmud aat Jews' College, which was founded as a rabbinical seminary and day-school for Jewish boys in 1855 and survives today as the London School of Jewish Studies. Daiches wrote several other works on the history of Jews in Iraq and was honoured by a festschrift entitled "Ye Are My Witnesses" in 1936. Seller Inventory # 008261
