First edition, second issue with corrections on p.49 lines 4 & 5. A near fine copy just a bit rubbed at spine. No jacket. Lewis's classic satirical novel about American middle-class and the social pressure toward conformity. It is thought that this novel was influential in Lewis being awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1930. It was the basis of two films, a silent in 1924 and a sound picture in 1934.
