Includes the title novella supplemented by six tales of the eerie Sargasso Sea, plus a baker's-dozen tales of the British smuggler, Captain Gault; and four other sea tales. Horror, the supernatural, adventure, and flashes of humor are the hallmarks of these tales. Frontis portrait of a young WHH. Introduction by editor Jeremy Lassen. Appendix of notes on the tales.
