About this Item
First edition. Green coloured boards with lettering on the spine and front cover. Covers are well thumbed and rubbed, with some patches of discolouration upon spine and boards (see image). Some scratches and cloth is worn in parts. Head and tail of spine bumped, corners smooth and cloth bears some heavy wear. Spine lightly sunned, yet heavily discoloured. Free endpapers, pastedowns and title pages bear moderate discolouration and light foxing. Light foxing occurs throughout the pages. Page edges well thumbed and well discoloured.Fore edge and tail edge deckled. Binding is tidy, yet well worn at the rear pastedown, and split throughout. Previous owner's inscription on half-title page. Feeling it's one hundred years. This book is in poor condition, yet legible and has a good feel to it. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound. Seller Inventory # DRA036
