CONTENTS DESCRIPTION:The 38th Wisconsin Infantry regiment campaigned in Virginia and participated in the Siege of Petersburg, the pursuit of General Lee's army, and with the 1st Battalion at Arsenal, Washington, during the trial and execution of President Lincoln's assassins.
