About this Item
First Edition. Fine hardcover in Fine dustwrapper. Illustrated in a classic art nouveau style by Michael Symes. Limited to 975 copies, released in honor of Munn's appearance as Guest of Honor at the First World Fantasy Convention, where he spoke of his close friendship with H. P. Lovecraft and the early days of Weird Tales magazine. This volume consists of poems and some prose concerning Joan of Arc, and may be regarded as an epilog to his Merlin novels. Harold Munn believed himself reincarnated from the time of Joan of Arc and to have been her closest protector! This copy is special in that it includes a loving AUTHOR'S INSCRIPTION to his friend and fellow fantasist Jessica Amanda Salmonson, and includes her personal bookplate on the inside front paste-down.
