Octavo. Unpaginated. Red buckram with gilt and white lettering on the front cover. Rounded corners. Top of book block in red. Decorative endpapers. Frontispiece with facsimile signatures of the four partners in the company, Mary Pickford, Charles Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks and D.W. Griffith. This catalog promotes the then upcoming 1926-1927 productions from American film studio United Artists, to the Spanish audience. 16 films are promoted throughout the publication, each with its own multi-colored illustrated "title page", cast and credits, and synopsis, with countless b/w and color-tinted stills from the film throughout. Film stars featured include the above mentioned primary partners in the company as well as Rudolph Valentino, W.C. Fields, Norma Talmadge, Ronald Coleman, and William S. Hart. The final pages include a list of all the productions mentioned and a list of projects in development, including Buster Keaton's "The General" and Chaplin's "The Circus". Text throughout in Spanish. Binding with some abrasions and rubbing to the spine and along the edges of the covers. Foxing to the edges of the book block. Interior with some foxing to the frontispiece and title page. Additional light sporadic sunning and//or water stains to the edges of some pages throughout. Images mostly unaffected. Book block tight. Binding in good-, interior in very good- overall.
