Dust jacket has one small tear on top edge near the spine (now protected in archival jacket cover). A history of the conversion of the Arkansas River into a navigable waterway to the completion of Tulsa Port of Catoosa, Oklahoma. Making the Arkansas River navigable from the Mississippi River to Oklahoma. Events that are described are the programs of The Fort Smith Symphony Orchestra in 1930-1931 and in 1963 with discussion on the Arkansas Terriories and counties along the river.
