Hard cover. There are 32 illustrations of various animals (are sepia tone in color) drawn by the author including a type of cat on the title page. The cover is tan pictorial cloth with a monkey sitting on a branch toward the top, with grasses on the bottom, these go from the front to the rear boards. The title is in gilt on the spine. The corners are bumped otherwise the cover is very clean, the dust jacket is worn with many chips and a few small rips and has yellowed, but holding nicely. The interior end sheets are very yellowed with age and the interior pages are slightly yellowed, but very clean with no markings.325 pp. Seller Inventory # 000259
