Pictorial cloth without gilt. Abrasion (bookplate removal?) on front end-paper, gift inscription to front paste-down otherwise slight foxing but very good. "Although this book is entitled "Angling and Art in Scotland," it must not be thought that it is in any way a treatise upon painting." Briggs' angling reminiscences, illustrated with his excellent colour paintings and black and white vignettes. *Two binding states are known.
