Small octavos in what appears to be original hard paper bindings. Bindings are a bit scuffed, worn at corners, spines have old paper labels with 1 & 2 and shelf number. Interiors have old library labels with some library marks on the end papers, both titles have either been laid down or strengthened with paper behind, end papers foxed, otherwise minimal foxing throughout, occasional small mark, but mostly clean and unmarked. Schelhorn (1694-1773) was a teacher, Lutheran pastor, and librarian in Memmingen who wrote on literary and ecclesiastical history. These two volumes are asomething of a continuation of his Amoenitates literariae (14 vols. , 1721-31). They contain i. A. Historia operis a Reginaldo Polo adversus Henricum VIII.
