From Jonathan Frost Rare Books Limited, Liverpool, United Kingdom Seller rating 5 out of 5 stars
AbeBooks Seller since 18 June 2007
First edition. 76 pages, including stills from the film plus a 20 page unpaginated "photo preview" of Under Capricorn. The book is staple bound in colour illustrated wraps, which are lightly rubbed, toned and grubby, with a few small nicks to the edges. The text block is age browned and lightly marked. An uncommon book of the film, based on Patrick Hamilton's play of the same name, though the complete absence of any mention of his name is a striking indicator of the breakdown in relations between Hamilton and Hitchcock and the former's dislike of the film. Quite a rare find in presentable condition due to the cheap pulp production standards. Seller Inventory # 6031
