British edition, undated (however 1912). Presumed first printing. No jacket as issued. Large format. Illustrated by Edwin Noble. All illustrations are present and in very good condition. Brown boards with black lettering to spine and colour illustration to front are good with pushing/bumping to corners, few small marks, darkening to spine, the odd small bump/dent, odd minor bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/small splits to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean. Inside boards/end-papers tanned with few small marks/minor foxing. Binding bit pulled (webbing showing) and top quarter of pages loose near front (however book is not in danger of falling apart). Neat gift inscription and date in pen to front end-paper. Pages bit tanned. Top of pages slightly dusty. Odd small crease to a few pages. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages.
