About this Item

Full leather. A very few very light pencil markings. Spine with raised bands and lettered in gold. Contemporary covers; spine has been professionally and sympathetically rebacked (some time ago). Marbled endpapers. Front endpaper has a scar where a bookplate has been removed. Folding frontispiece is slightly dust marked and spotted. Early and late leaves with some light spotting. Overall clean text and plates for age. Please ask for more photos if required. Includes a list of subscribers, among whom is listed Sir Isaac Newton, President of the Royal Society, who lived in nearby Woolsthorpe Manor. Seller Inventory # 001047

We pack all our orders in bubble-wrap and cardboard to ensure they are well protected during shipping.

Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. We normally despatch within 2 working days.

For UK destinations we will use the Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard service for packages up to 2 KG and Parcelforce48 for > 2 KG. We will use the Royal Mail 2nd Class "Signed For" service or Special Delivery Next Day (13:00) where we consider it necessary (based upon the total value of the package).
