First edition, with dustwrapper. Red boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Head and tail of spine lightly bumped and rubbed. Binding is neat and tidy. Page edges are uniformly discoloured and moderately foxed. Free endpapers and pastedowns are a little discoloured. All pages have a very light halo of discolouration, yet this book is in good condition. Dust wrapper has some creasing at edges and back cover. Spine and covers rubbed. Edges and corners are showing some moderate wear and tear, as well as the occasional chip. Large segment missing at the head edge of back cover. Well discoloured front and back, yet this dust wrapper is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound. ** This book weighs over 1kg, and will therefore attract additional postage costs for international buyers.
