Oblong folio, 24 plates. In Good condition. Bound in quarter dark green calf, marbled paper boards; some wear and rubbing to binding. Contains Plan de la Ville de Rome 1845, followed by 23 plates by Alessandro Moschetti. Mild foxing to plates. The 23 plates are: Tempio della Concordia, Tempio di Antonino e Faustina, Tempio della Pace, Tempio di Venere e Roma, Avanzi del Foro di Nerva, Arco di Gallieno, Portico di Ottavia, Avanzi del Teatro di Marcelllo, Arco di Giano Quadrifronte, Tempio di Vesta, Arco di Druso, Sepolcro di Cecillia Metella, Piazza del Popolo, Trinita di Monti, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Colonna, Foro Trajano, Piazza della Minerva, Piazza Navona, Basilica di S. Ma. Maggiore, Pantehon di Agrippa detta la Rotonda, Interno del Pantheon, Campidoglio; RR consignment. Shelved above mythology. Alessandro Moschetti was an Italian printmaker specialising in vedute. He published groups of Roman views in the 1840s and 1850s, notably the 'Nuova raccolta delle vedute di Roma antica e moderna disegnate sul vero da varij artist', published in Rome in 1843, and the 'Album delle piu interessanti vedute di Roma', to which he contributed along with Domenico Amici and Gaetano Cottafavi, published in Rome in 1855.
