Rebacked with old spine laid-down Elaborate gilt borders with French fillets, broad floral band, and inner single fillet. Panelled spine. All edges gilt. An unpaginated album of more than 100 pages. Contains woodcuts, tracings, several original drawings in color. Primarily saintly figures, many with hand-written descriptions in brown ink in an old, fine penmanship. We have no indication of the person or persons who collected the material, no dates, but appears to be mid-19th century. Quite an unusual and comprehensive album housed in a fine unsigned binding.
