This has an old gift inscription on end paper otherwise NO marks no tears, no odors or foxing, bright and tight copy with marvelous photos throughout. The bicycle journey was from Constantinople to Peking and it is a legendary journey as vast areas of the globe SAW THEIR FIRST BICYCLE thanks to these cocky American young men! It is VERY rare in the 1894 lst and even quite rare in the 1897 so this, bright, lovely copy is a 'must have for both the tavel and biycle antiquarian book collector.
