A classic piece of anti-Vietnam War agitprop and Establishment mockery, co-authored by the co-founder of The Fugs (Kupferberg). His obituary in The Guardian described him as "a key figure in the US countercultural campaign of the 1960s. As a publisher, poet, pacifist, singer and songwriter, he used his talents for writing and humor to attack the perceived repressions of his nation and its escalating military activities in south-east Asia." As promised by the title, it's basically just a long list of purported methods for avoiding military service -- some of which might actually have worked, but mostly ranging from facetious to goofy to inspired, with all gradations in between. Nice tight copy, minor edgewear to covers with a tiny tear in the bottom corner of the front cover. Seller Inventory # 20229
