Some foxing affecting some illustrations and all of the tissue guards, but text block is generally clean, tight and readable. The author was a correspondent of Saunder's News-letter, a Dublin newspaper noted for its non-partisan journalism. The text of the book originally appeared as articles ('letters') in the newspaper. A considerable Irish rarity. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
