Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good++. Howard Morris (Jacket Design) (illustrator). First Edition. One of America's best-known dog experts lets go, and tells just what he thinks about the state of dogs. The Mylar-protected dust-jacket is excellent, with only light wear at the corners and edges, and at the head and tail of the spine. The line-green book binding is excellent. The interior is clean and tight, with a neat ink inscription from the author, dated November 9, 1959. The inscription is to Emma and Walter Goldman, the long-time owners of Weeboro Kennels in Monroe, Connecticut, and legends in the dog obedience and poodle-breeding business. 184 pgs.
