Book
Soft cover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. 8vo (22 x 14.5 cms). 124 + 4 pages. Paperback. The front cover carries in red manuscript the lines scrawled by Tom in chapter ten. Paid advertising on the inside front cover and on both sides of the back cover. There are also four pages of publisher's advertisements. An unusual item, but not in good condition. CONDITION: Poor. The sheet comprising the front and back covers is detached, creased, with a large piece missing around the base of the spine, and some other chips and tears. The title page is missing. The rest of the book is holding together - just. Many pages are creased at the corners, and the last page is grubby. An owner's signature on the first page; a Foyle's stamp on the last page of the novel. The pages are otherwise (it's the best that can be said) clean.
