Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. xiv, 582 + viii, 585 to 1200pp, photos, photo-gravures, drawings, statistics. Parts 1-19 bound in two volumes suggests this was a periodical but I can find no other support information, this may account for the slightly odd contents numbering. The author was the Director general of De Dion Bouton (car manufacturers) in France and president of the London branch. He participated in the London-to Brighton in 1896 and published other periodicals and contributed to many others. A fascinating exploration of the development of the motor car from the early development of the wheel. Clean and tight in solid binding. Semi glazed paper. Will incur additional postage. 6kg.
