The boards are tight, straight and clean, with gilt titles to front and gilt pattern to back strip - very good condition. The spine cloth ends are a little worn. Good red patterned end papers; yellow book plate on front paste down. Gilt cut edges. The text block is printed in two columns; tightly bound, square and clean. Frontispiece of Longfellow with clean tissue guard. No inscriptions etc. Very good condition.
