Loosely inserted is a typed letter bearing the embossed Buckingham Palace crest, dated 30 Oct 1980 and thanking the correspondent on behalf of H.R.H. for sending the first franked letter from Garden House advertising The Old Man of Lochnagar. Garden House was then the head office of Hamish Hamilton, who presumably wrote to H.R.H. Inexplicably uncommon. Scarce with these attributes. Photographs/scans available upon request.
