Book
Original Cloth. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Second Edition. Thriller Book Club edition. Originally published by John Gifford in 1964. This edition is undated but probably mid 1960s using the same cover art as Gifford edition. The jacket has had reinforcing paper glued to the reverse and the flaps have also been glued to the front and rear pastedowns and this cannot be detached without causing significant damage to both the jacket and the book. Tape marks running the length of the front and rear pastedowns with tape marks also on the top and bottom of the boards in the same area. There is a little surface damage to the front free endpaper where a label has been removed. No stamps or library marks but the book has probably been in some kind of lending library. The book has been in the house of smoker so there is a slight odour to the pages which are a little browned but otherwise unmarked. The jacket has a few light stains to the rear panel and some fading to the spine.
