Noe-Cyprien Cyr was 12 years old when he first impressed Irenee Gagnon enough to give `Louis' a job helping wood-cutters - the year was 1875, the locale - Saint-Cyprien, Quebec. In the 40 years of his life Louis went on to become a showman and won many strength competitions. 101 pages plus appendix. TEXT assisted by 8 b/w plates.
