Condition: Good. 1933. 95 pages. No dust jacket. Orange cloth with gilt lettering. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips. Headband is missing. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

SCARCE SIGNED edition containing three engaging lectures by Morley on Shakespeare. Previous ownership marks above those of the Author. The book is tight and internally clean, though the orange cover has patches of fading. The SCARCE dust jacket is present and complete, though somewhat tattered and with a smudge on the rear panel. Christopher Morley (1890 - 1957) was an prominent American journalist, novelist, essayist, and poet. He also produced stage productions and was a college lecturer. He is most remembered for light humor, The Haunted Bookshop (1955), and his studies on Sherlock Holmes.
