Some fading and creasing to spine at joints, corners of boards lightly bumped. Armorial bookplate to front paste-down, former owner's name in ink to front fly. Not illustrated; textblock edges un-trimmed. A lovely, bright copy; very ornamental. Very good condition. While Huxley is more well known for his seminal work "Brave New World," his selected poetry and short stories garnered early acclaim. Huxley later was made a Companion of Literature by the Royal Society of Literature for his contributions. Quite scarce, more so in this condition.
