Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Undated, c1920. In the most amazing handmade slipcase with metal embellishments. The boards of the book are shelf rubbed and edge worn, but remain otherwise strong and sturdy. Internally, there is some mild, age-related edge wear and a previous owner's signature to the front end page, but there are no other markings or inscriptions and the pages are neat and complete. With 4 gold preliminaries, 12 colour illustrations, 13 in-text black and white illustrations, elaborate decorative initials and nearly every page beautifully decorated in Celtic style by the author.
