This copy has been boldly inscribed to the previous owner on the lower front fly in blue felt tip pen by photographer Louise Dahl-Wolfe "To--with love/& memories of my/past-which I hope you/enjoy love/Louise Dahl-Wolfe". Additionally affixed to the same page is a Christmas card from the photographer to the same recipient which reads "Best Wishes for/a Happy Healthy 1987/love/Louise-Dahl Wolf". Lastly laid in is an additional Christmas card in the mailing envelope to the same recipient from Dahl-Wolfe. The card which is approx. 4" x 6" has affixed an approx. 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" original silver of an angel. Dahl-Wolfe has initialed in pencil below the print and inscribed on the verso of the card, "Dear --/We wish you and/all your family/an exceptionally/Happy Healthy/and/Wealthy/1985-/-love Louise and Mike/Dahl-Wolfe-/P.S.-I'll get down to writing/after the holidays-no/excuse my negligence-".
