After Atlas Shrugged, Rand focued on writing nonfiction, and called her philosophy "Objectivism" From 1962 until 1976, she published and wrote for three successive periodicals: The Objectivist Newsletter, The Objectivist and The Ayn Rand Letter. Many of her most significant writings and essays are found in the Objectivist periodicals, and later became gathered together into her famous books such as Virtue of Selfishness and Philosophy and Who Needs It.
