Condition: Fair. No Edition Remarks. 256 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Light staining, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Book is subtly bowed and forward leaning with minor tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft splitting and crushing to ends.

Book has several faults but retains structural integrity at the moment. Binding is extremely loose, Frontis has tatty edges. Tissue guard is present. Plate at pp160/161 is missing. Pg 92 has an edge tear and 93 has a corner chip. Half title and the rear endpaper have a name in pencil, Fair copy.

HARDCOVER. nd (c1922). A very good copy in illustrated green boards. The edges and endpapers are lightly foxed and there is very light foxing scattered throughout but generally the contents are very clean and the binding is excellent. The d/w is good with some panel rubbing, repaired edge tears and a small amount of loss from the spine ends. Now in a protective cover. Scans available if required.
