Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. Ralph Steadman (illustrator). 1st Edition. First printing thus; 8vo ; 112 pages; Bound in brown cloth with gilt lettering. Dust wrapper is clipped. Illustrated by Ralph Steadman with 6 full-page black & white illustrations, illustrated title-page, and chapter-headings also in Steadman's hand. A Based on the legend of dim-witted and accident-prone bushranger Moondyne Joe, in Western Australia. Originally published in 1967, this new edition has an entirely re-set text, and features the unmistakeable illustrations of Ralph Steadman, which have also been redone and added to for this edition. There is a small red stain affecting 12 pages in the lower margins, looks like a felt tip bleed. A shame as it would have been a fine copy otherwise. Size 16.5 x 22 cm (8.5 x 6.5 inches).
