Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Reginald B Birch (illustrator). Orange colored covered boards with attractive ornate dark orange and dark blue lettering. Spine and covers are in very good shape. Small brown mark on front endpaper otherwise, clean text. The frontispiece is black and white, plus another wonderful Victorian illustrations throughout the book. The book jacket is light gray with red title and red stylized flower inside a double lined red box, the spine has a stamp in red which says, 'This is an American Century Book," there is a yellow paint spot on the jacket.and small tear on bottom of front; the price is uncut .Set in Elizabethan England and includes many historical events.
