First Edition. Actor Jon HallŐs copy of an original 61 page story outline with location shots for an action/adventure television series ÔManolo of the Seven SeasŐ which was shot as a pilot in 1958, but was never produced. With ŇJon Hall Location ShotsÓ on the front cover and HallŐs occasional notations in red pencil throughout. Bradbound. Lightly used copy with a bit of dust soiling to the covers, not affecting the interior, in printed wrappers. Jon Hall is best remembered for his role as the romantic lead character, Terangi, opposite Dorothy Lamour in John FordŐs film The Hurricane (1937). His career capitalized on that success, with more films set in the South Seas, such as South of Pago Pago, Aloma of the South Seas, and On the Isle of Samoa. He also appeared in Kit Carson, Arabian Nights, and The Prince of Thieves. In the early 50s he starred in a television series Ramar of the Jungle as Dr. Tom 'Ramar' Reynolds, the former son of African missionaries who divides his time between giving medical attention to the natives and battling bad guys.
