Major rubbing to covers, rounding to corners, fraying to edges & spine, inside has tanning to page edges, fepp has diverse stains, blank bookplate inside front cover, a brown stain to lower edge of pages from front flyleaf fading through to title page, ffep has a tear to top near spine, else overall worn, but intact. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

The Little Lame Prince was banished to a solitary tower on a barren plain by his wicked uncle. He led a lonely life until one day his fairy godmother brought him a miraculous travelling cloak. The Brownie is full of tricks and mischief but never does anyone any harm. Purple spine black titles in cream text block and vignette of a prince. Crown symbols to boards. pictorial endpapers. Colour and b/w illustrations. 291 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Top corners of many pages bumped or creased. Top of text block is dusty. Browning to some pages otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, creased with chipping and a couple of closed tears. Spine is browned. White label to verso to cover one of the tears. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!.

Very sharp, for such an inexpensively produced edition. Jacket is Very Good, with spine end roughening and not much else to point to (see scans). For the collector.
