Condition: Fair. 1934. Second Edition. 205 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Black and white photographic plates. Light thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has light tanning with minor splitting, fraying and crushing to joints and ends. Lettering remains bright and clear.
Second edition (hardback). 12mo (19cm by 13cm), xi, 205pp. 39 illustrations. Original brick-red cloth, gilt titling to the spine. The binding is a little dusty, there is a short split to the head of the spine, and scattered fxoing of the contents; overall, this book is just about in good condition.
