Book
Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket As Issued. Staple-bound 55-page collection of mimeographed or photocopied articles about "the communist threat", "communist subversion" and the like in the U.S. educational system, once distributed by the Institute for Special Research, Pasadena, California, founded by George Washington Robnett, founder of the Church League of America. A very interesting example of the anti-communist hysteria that led to the gross abuses of the House Un-American Activities Committee and the Subversive Activities Control Board. It has a little toning in the lower right corner of the front cover and a single 1/8" spot on the back cover, is otherwise in almost pristine condition. We will pack it in bubble-wrap and ship it in a sturdy box to ensure safe delivery.
