Jackie and Babs were excited to be spending their summer at a farm near the seaside, and when they found that three pony-boys were living nearby, they looked forward to a happy time. But the boys had other ideas, and every effort to make friends with them was thwarted or ended in near disaster. When Jackie and Misty entered the team-jumping competition with two of the pony-boys, it seemed that once again they were doomed to failure, but the result, though unexpected, was a happy ending to the summer holiday.
