Frontis of black and white photo of Helen Vlachos at her desk in the Kathimerini office on Socrates Street. This is the story of the only Greek newspaper owner who refused to publish under censorship in the 1960's when the Democratic Greek government was overthrown by the junta of colonels. It tells of her escape into England. She also tells of her life during the occupation of Greece during WWII.
