Granta itself was prohibited from publishing large sections of this, so the banned portions are included, but blacked over. This copy is SIGNED by Mona Simpson at her story "Victory Mills." Also includes contributions from Bruce Chatwin, Gilles Peress, Philip Roth, Tobias Wolff, Peter Carey, James Fenton, Nick Cohn, E. L.
