Canvas streteched over Boards. Condition: Excellent. Jack Kerouac 12" X 16" (illustrator). original painting of Kerouac's sainted brother Gerard by Jack Kerouac, signed "Kerouac" in upper left hand corner of painting in paint, signed "Jean-Louis Kerouac" in blue ball point on back of canvas, offered to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the publication of ON THE ROAD we even have proof that the canvas was purchased at Kerouac's favorite art supply store, thank you, date of the painting is approximate the exact date is unknown. additional photo added of the "Kerouac" signature in upper left hand corner of painting in paint, we have a photo of Kerouac at his desk with another painting in the same distinctive style hanging behind him in his writing room and letters of provenance. Signed by Jack Kerouac.
