Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. First edition. Fine in a fine dustwrapper with light wear to the crown and corners. Inscribed by the author to the novelist Monica Dickens (granddaughter of Charles Dickens). The rear flap of this book quotes Dickens' earlier review of *Words for a Deaf Daughter* for *The Boston Globe*. Laid in is a photocopy of a letter from West to Dickens, asking her to review this book, as apparently *The Globe* had not received their review copy. An excellent association.
