Condition: Sehr gut. 12. Auflage. 467 (13) Seiten. 19,1 cm. Umschlagbild von Alex Colville. Umschlagkonzept: Balk & Brumshagen. Sehr guter Zustand. - Thomas Coraghessan Boyle (* 2. . . Aus: wikipedia-Thomas_Coraghessan_Boyle. A fine copy in orange and black boards with gilt spine lettering in a fine, pictorial dustwrapper. Both book and jacket are pristine and the book appears unread. A young Japanese seaman inspired by dreams of the City of Brotherly Love and trained in the ways of the samurai, jumps ship off the coast of Georgia and swims into a net of rabid rednecks, genteel ladies, descendants of slaves, and the denizens of an artists' colony. The result is a sexy, hilarious tragicomedy of thwarted expectations and mistaken identity, love, jealousy, and betrayal. Boyle, a seasoned performer in American fiction, has signed this copy on the title page. Signed by Author(s).
