First edition. 12mo. [xiii], 257, [4] pp. Cloth binding, gilt lettering spine, no jacket, foxing, overall good condition. (81513).
Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition. Hardback. No Dust Jacket. 8vo. pp xiii, 257, [32]. Original publisher's mauve cloth, lettered gilt on spine and illustrated in blind on the front cover. Front panel showing an Art Nouveau style image of a page boy type (designed by Frederick Baron Corvo). First edition, second issue. Points on this book are slightly complicated but Woolf describes this exact issue-- this is one of circa 100 copies bound up from the original shhets for Chatto in 1924 with the 1905 date on the title page neatly erased "presumably in an attempt to pass it off as a hitherto unpublished work. There are sufficient of such copies to indicate that the erasure was made by the distributor." Some fading/ tanning at spine and hinge edges of spine and corners slightly bumped, slight splitting at top of front spine hinge, slight rubbing otherwise sound, very good minus with clean text.
