Dust jacket has absorbed all the wear: rubbed and smudged on front and (more so on) back cover. Worn along all edges, top/tail of spine are chipped, tears at bottom and top of back cover flap which is also chipped in two areas. No pieces missing, just obviously worn.

An account of the true story of a Vervet monkey adopted by two sisters on an African farm, illustrated with photographs and drawings by the author Charlotte Truepenny. From the library of Desmond Morris, a zoologist best known for his 1967 sociobiological work "The Naked Ape". Alongside achieving great acclaim as a zoologist, Morris was also known for being an ethnologist and surrealist painter, and for popular television programmes, including "Zoo Time". In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is in excellent condition except for a small patch of sunning to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Dust wrapper is chipped to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities of the front of the wrap.
