Half-Leather. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Union Academique International - U.S.A. Fascicule 1. Details of two collections of Greek vases held in the United States. The Hoppin collection is described in 12 text pages (written by Hoppin before his death), and 20 plates (b/w) to show the collection. The Gallatin collection is described in 20 pages and shown in 32 b/w plates. The book is inscribed to a prior owner by Gallatin and with his signature and dated May 1927. The book also was owned by Stephen V. Grancsay - and has his bookplate on the inside front cover. The exterior is half leather with marbled boards and is worn and rubbed and has a missing chip (1 inch section) at the spine top. The interior has marbled endpapers and is unmarked, tight and clean - very good condition. The exterior condition problems demote the overall condition to only fair. Signed by Author(s).
