Erhaltung: Sehr schöner Halbpergament-Einband der Zeit mit angesetzten Ecken. Das aufmontierte Rücken-Titel-Schild aus Leder mit dem Titel in Gold ist vollständig und ohne jede Beschädigung. Auch der Rücken bzw. der gesamte Einband ohne Einrisse; Buchblock und Einband sind fest zusammen, der Rücken schön gerade. Der grüne Deckelbezug ist an den Kanten abgeschabt. Am hinteren Deckel zeigt der Bezug im oberen Bereich ein dunkle Verfärbung. Am hinteren Deckel ist das Vorsatzpapier innen teilweise abgetrennt worden. Darunter kommen handschriftliche Notizen, Noten und Zahlen zum Vorschein. Offensichtlich wurde beschriebenes Papier aufgeleimt, um den Deckel zu verstärken. An 2 Stellen hat sich ein Bücherwurm ausgehend von der längeren Schnittkante in die Richtung des Satzspiegels vorgebohrt. Da es sich um ein breitrandiges Exemplar handelt, ist der Satzspiegel nur zwischen den Seiten 197-204 u. 207-220 davon betroffen; aber nur ganz minimal am Rand, d.h. einzelne Buchstaben wurden nur teilweise angeknabbert, ließen sich aus dem Zusammenhang aber auch dann problemlos ergänzen, wenn ganze Buchstaben betroffen wären (was nicht der Fall ist). Trotz dieser Mängel insgesamt ein sehr gutes Exemplar. Die Papierqualität bei diesen alten Büchern ist hervorragend und übersteht ohne Bedenken auch die kommenden Jahrhunderte. Die 4 Ausfaltblätter enthalten Tabellen, wohl die Regierungszeit der römischen Kaiser betreffend. Sprache: Lateinisch.
